The admit card will be released separately before each stage (PET/PST first) on rect.crpf.gov.in — no official release date has been announced yet. Admit cards are never sent by post; download them using your registration number and carry two coloured printouts to the venue.

A total of 9,195 vacancies: 9,175 Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) posts — 9,096 for men and 79 for women, distributed State/UT-wise — plus 20 Constable (Pioneer) posts (Mason 13, Electrician 7) filled on an all-India basis. Driver (3,176), Cook (1,426) and Bugler (1,274) are the largest trades.

Six stages in order: Physical Efficiency Test (PET race), Physical Standard Test (PST — height/chest/weight), Computer Based Test (CBT), Trade/Skill Test (qualifying, 20 out of 50 marks), Document Verification, and Detailed/Review Medical Examination. The final merit list is prepared only from normalized CBT marks, subject to qualifying all other stages.

The CBT has one objective paper of 100 questions and 100 marks with a 2-hour duration: 25 questions each from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. Yes, 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. The paper is of matriculation level and available in English and Hindi only.

Male candidates of Driver, Motor Mechanic Vehicle, Gardener, Painter, Carpenter, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Cobbler, Tailor and Bugler must run 5 km in 24 minutes; male Cook, Water Carrier, Barber, Washerman and Safai Karamchari candidates run 1.6 km in 10 minutes. Women run 1.6 km in 8 minutes 30 seconds (skilled trades) or 12 minutes (other trades). Pioneer candidates run 1.6 km in 9 minutes. Ex-Servicemen are exempt from PET but must appear in PST for measurements.

ड्राइवर, मोटर मैकेनिक व्हीकल, माली, पेंटर, कारपेंटर, ब्रास बैंड, पाइप बैंड, कॉब्लर, टेलर और बिगुलर के पुरुष अभ्यर्थियों को 24 मिनट में 5 किमी दौड़ना होगा; कुक, वाटर कैरियर, नाई, धोबी और सफाई कर्मचारी के पुरुष अभ्यर्थियों को 10 मिनट में 1.6 किमी। महिलाओं को 8 मिनट 30 सेकंड (कुशल ट्रेड) या 12 मिनट (अन्य ट्रेड) में 1.6 किमी दौड़ना होगा। पायनियर अभ्यर्थियों को 9 मिनट में 1.6 किमी। भूतपूर्व सैनिकों को PET से छूट है, पर माप के लिए PST में उपस्थित होना होगा।

Minimum height is 170 cm for men and 157 cm for women. Male candidates need a chest of 80 cm un-expanded with minimum 5 cm expansion (chest is not measured for women). Notified relaxations apply for Scheduled Tribes, candidates from North-Eastern states, Gorkha Territorial Administration areas, and categories like Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras and Marathas.

न्यूनतम ऊंचाई पुरुषों के लिए 170 सेमी और महिलाओं के लिए 157 सेमी है। पुरुष अभ्यर्थियों का सीना बिना फुलाए 80 सेमी और न्यूनतम 5 सेमी फुलाव जरूरी है (महिलाओं का सीना नहीं मापा जाता)। अनुसूचित जनजाति, पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों, गोरखा टेरिटोरियल एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन क्षेत्रों तथा गढ़वाली, कुमाऊंनी, डोगरा, मराठा जैसी श्रेणियों को अधिसूचित छूट प्राप्त है।

Age (as on 01 Jan 2026): 18-23 years for all trades except Driver, which is 21-27 years. Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years, Ex-Servicemen 3 years after deducting service, and 5-10 years for dependents of 1984-riot victims. The fee was Rs 100 per post applied, payable only by male General/EWS/OBC candidates; SC, ST, all women and Ex-Servicemen were exempt. Applications closed on 19 May 2026.

Yes. As per the official notification, the final result is declared on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (normalized scores), subject to the candidate qualifying the PET, PST, Trade/Skill Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination. PET, PST and the Trade Test are qualifying stages only.

Tradesman vacancies are domicile-based: you could apply only against the vacancies of the State/UT whose Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate you hold, and you must produce that certificate at document verification — a mismatch cancels the candidature. Pioneer (Mason/Electrician) posts are all-India. Once selected, candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India.
