Applications closed on 31 March 2026 and the written exam was held on 28 June 2026 (12 noon to 2 PM, single shift). As of the latest update to this page (13 July 2026), CSBC has not released the answer key or result — candidates should watch csbc.bihar.gov.in for the result and the PET schedule.

CSBC has not announced an official result date yet. Based on CSBC's usual practice, the answer key is generally published first, followed by the written-exam result and then the PET schedule. All updates appear only on csbc.bihar.gov.in.

CSBC ने अभी आधिकारिक रिजल्ट तिथि घोषित नहीं की है। पर्षद की सामान्य प्रक्रिया के अनुसार पहले आंसर की, फिर लिखित परीक्षा का परिणाम और उसके बाद PET कार्यक्रम जारी होता है। सभी अपडेट केवल csbc.bihar.gov.in पर प्रकाशित होते हैं।

Merit is based ONLY on written-exam marks (100 marks). The PET is qualifying — no marks are added from it. A minimum of 30% in the written exam is mandatory, and about 5 times the category-wise vacancies are called for PET. Ties are broken by age (older first), then higher qualification, then qualifying-exam marks, then alphabetical order of name.

मेरिट केवल लिखित परीक्षा के अंकों (100 अंक) के आधार पर बनेगी। PET सिर्फ क्वालीफाइंग है — इसके अंक नहीं जुड़ते। लिखित परीक्षा में न्यूनतम 30% अंक अनिवार्य हैं और कोटिवार रिक्तियों के लगभग 5 गुना अभ्यर्थी PET के लिए बुलाए जाएँगे। समान अंक होने पर वरीयता आयु (बड़े पहले), फिर उच्च शैक्षणिक योग्यता, फिर अर्हक परीक्षा के अंकों और अंत में नाम के अंग्रेज़ी वर्णक्रम से तय होगी।

One OMR-based paper of 100 questions for 100 marks in 2 hours: 25 questions each from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, at Bihar Board Intermediate (10+2) level. Each correct answer earns 1 mark; the official notification does not mention negative marking.

OMR आधारित एक प्रश्नपत्र — 2 घंटे में 100 प्रश्न, 100 अंक: सामान्य ज्ञान व समसामयिकी, भौतिकी, रसायन और गणित से 25-25 प्रश्न, स्तर बिहार बोर्ड इंटरमीडिएट (10+2)। प्रत्येक सही उत्तर पर 1 अंक; आधिकारिक अधिसूचना में निगेटिव मार्किंग का उल्लेख नहीं है।

Men: 1.6 km run in maximum 6 minutes, high jump 3 feet 6 inches, shot put 16 pounds thrown 15 feet. Women (and transgender candidates): 1 km run in maximum 6 minutes, high jump 2 feet 6 inches, shot put 12 pounds thrown 8 feet. Up to three attempts are allowed in jump and throw events, and every event must be cleared separately. The PET carries no marks — it is purely qualifying.

पुरुष: 1.6 किमी दौड़ अधिकतम 6 मिनट में, ऊँची कूद 3 फीट 6 इंच, गोला फेंक 16 पौंड — 15 फीट। महिलाएँ (व ट्रांसजेंडर अभ्यर्थी): 1 किमी दौड़ अधिकतम 6 मिनट में, ऊँची कूद 2 फीट 6 इंच, गोला फेंक 12 पौंड — 8 फीट। कूद व फेंक में अधिकतम तीन अवसर मिलेंगे और हर स्पर्धा अलग-अलग पास करनी होगी। PET के कोई अंक नहीं हैं — यह केवल क्वालीफाइंग है।

Height: 165 cm for UR/BC men, 160 cm for EBC and SC/ST men, 155 cm for women of all categories. Chest (men only): 81-86 cm for UR/BC/EBC and 79-84 cm for SC/ST, with a mandatory minimum expansion of 5 cm. Women must weigh at least 48 kg. Transgender candidates are measured against female standards.

ऊँचाई: UR/BC पुरुष 165 सेमी, EBC तथा SC/ST पुरुष 160 सेमी, सभी वर्गों की महिलाएँ 155 सेमी। सीना (केवल पुरुष): UR/BC/EBC हेतु 81-86 सेमी और SC/ST हेतु 79-84 सेमी — न्यूनतम 5 सेमी फुलाव अनिवार्य। महिलाओं का वजन न्यूनतम 48 किग्रा होना चाहिए। ट्रांसजेंडर अभ्यर्थियों पर महिला मानक लागू होंगे।

Intermediate (10+2) Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, passed with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). The application fee was Rs. 100 for ALL categories, paid online. Applications ran from 01 to 31 March 2026 on csbc.bihar.gov.in.

इंटरमीडिएट (10+2) विज्ञान — भौतिकी, रसायन व गणित सहित — न्यूनतम 50% अंकों (SC/ST हेतु 45%) से उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक था। आवेदन शुल्क सभी श्रेणियों के लिए ₹100 था, जो ऑनलाइन जमा हुआ। आवेदन 01 से 31 मार्च 2026 तक csbc.bihar.gov.in पर लिए गए।

Minimum 18 years (as on 01 Aug 2026). Maximum: 25 years for UR, 27 for BC/EBC men, 28 for BC/EBC women, and 30 for SC/ST and transgender candidates. Uniquely, the upper age was reckoned as on 01 August 2021 because the Bihar government granted a special 5-year relaxation for this recruitment. Category relaxations apply only to Bihar-domiciled candidates.

न्यूनतम 18 वर्ष (01 अगस्त 2026 के आधार पर)। अधिकतम: UR हेतु 25 वर्ष, BC/EBC पुरुष 27, BC/EBC महिला 28 तथा SC/ST व ट्रांसजेंडर अभ्यर्थियों हेतु 30 वर्ष। विशेष बात यह रही कि बिहार सरकार द्वारा 5 वर्ष की विशेष छूट के कारण अधिकतम आयु की गणना 01 अगस्त 2021 के आधार पर की गई। कोटिगत छूट केवल बिहार के मूल निवासियों को देय है।

The post carries Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 - 69,100) plus allowances under Bihar government rules. Constable Operators serve in the Bihar Police Radio Organisation (Telecommunication/Wireless & Technical Non-Gazetted Cadre), operating and maintaining the wireless communication network that connects police stations, control rooms and headquarters. The appointing authority is the Superintendent of Police (Wireless).

पद का वेतनमान लेवल-3 (₹21,700 - ₹69,100) तथा बिहार सरकार के नियमानुसार भत्ते हैं। कांस्टेबल ऑपरेटर बिहार पुलिस रेडियो संगठन (दूरसंचार/वितंतु एवं तकनीकी अराजपत्रित संवर्ग) में कार्यरत होते हैं और थानों, नियंत्रण कक्षों व मुख्यालय को जोड़ने वाले वायरलेस संचार नेटवर्क का संचालन व रखरखाव करते हैं। नियुक्ति प्राधिकार पुलिस अधीक्षक (वितंतु) हैं।

Before appointment, selected candidates undergo a medical examination under the Bihar Police Manual, which checks vision defects, colour blindness, hearing, stammering, flat foot and knock knee, along with character and antecedent verification. Stammering is specifically listed as disqualifying, so candidates should be aware of the medical standards in advance.

हाँ। नियुक्ति से पूर्व चयनित अभ्यर्थियों की बिहार पुलिस हस्तक के अनुसार चिकित्सा जाँच होगी, जिसमें दृष्टि दोष, कलर ब्लाइंडनेस, श्रवण शक्ति, हकलाहट, फ्लैट फुट और नॉकिंग-नी की जाँच के साथ चरित्र एवं पूर्ववृत्त सत्यापन भी शामिल है। हकलाहट को स्पष्ट रूप से अयोग्यता माना गया है, अतः अभ्यर्थी चिकित्सा मानकों की जानकारी पहले से रखें।
