It is the Common Eligibility Test conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission for Group D posts in Haryana government departments, boards and corporations, notified as Advertisement No. 05/2026 published on 18 June 2026. For Group D posts, the CET score carries 100% weightage in selection.

HSSC has not announced the exam date yet. The advertisement states that the date of examination and admit card download schedule will be communicated separately on hssc.gov.in. Registered candidates should regularly check the official website.

18 to 42 years as on the closing date of registration. For candidates entitled to relaxation (SC, Backward Classes, PwBD and other categories as per Haryana Govt instructions dated 25.03.2022), the upper limit can go up to a maximum of 52 years.

There is no negative marking for wrong answers, but for every question you skip you must fill the fifth circle on the OMR sheet — otherwise one mark is deducted per unattempted question.

25% of the paper is Haryana-specific — history, current affairs, literature, geography, environment, culture, economy, polity and society of Haryana. The remaining 75% covers General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, English, Hindi and General Science.

पेपर का 25% हिस्सा हरियाणा-विशेष है — हरियाणा का इतिहास, करेंट अफेयर्स, साहित्य, भूगोल, पर्यावरण, संस्कृति, अर्थव्यवस्था, राजव्यवस्था और समाज। शेष 75% में सामान्य जागरूकता, रीजनिंग, गणितीय योग्यता, अंग्रेज़ी, हिंदी और सामान्य विज्ञान शामिल हैं।

Against a Standard Rate of ₹1,000, Haryana male general-category applicants providing Parivar Pehchan/Aadhaar paid ₹500; female applicants and SC/BC/EWS, Ex-Servicemen and PwBD applicants of Haryana paid ₹250. Applicants without PPP/Aadhaar paid double their slab. Those who had applied in CET Group C Advt No. 01/2025 paid no fee.

₹1,000 की मानक दर पर, परिवार पहचान पत्र/आधार देने वाले हरियाणा के सामान्य वर्ग के पुरुष अभ्यर्थियों ने ₹500 और महिला अभ्यर्थियों तथा SC/BC/EWS, भूतपूर्व सैनिक व PwBD अभ्यर्थियों ने ₹250 शुल्क दिया। PPP/आधार न देने वालों को दोगुना स्लैब देना पड़ा। CET ग्रुप C विज्ञापन सं. 01/2025 में आवेदन कर चुके अभ्यर्थियों से शुल्क नहीं लिया गया।

Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for General and 40% for reserved categories. Candidates who qualified the CET Group D exam held on 12 January 2024 remain qualified up to 11 January 2027; their marks out of 95 will be converted to percentage for the combined merit list with this cycle's qualifiers.
