The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued Indicative Advertisement No. 06/2026 inviting online applications for Direct Recruitment by Selection to a wide spread of Group A and Group B technical, scientific, teaching, legal and medical posts across various Ministries, Departments and Union Territory administrations. The advertisement covers 98 distinct post-types adding up to a combined 546 vacancies. Prominent openings include Junior Scientific Officer (National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming, Ghaziabad and Naval Headquarters), Regional Director, Operations Officer and Air Safety Officer (DGCA), a large cluster of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts in numerous engineering and science disciplines at the College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune, Assistant Legal Adviser and Assistant Public Prosecutor posts, Scientist B/C posts, Assistant Director (IT and Economic Investigation), and numerous Specialist Grade-III and Medical Officer posts in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and various Union Territory of Ladakh and Puducherry departments. Pay is offered across Levels 6 to 14 (and Academic Levels 10 to 14) of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with NPA applicable to several medical posts. Reservation is provided for UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST and PwBD candidates as specified post-wise. Online applications must be submitted through the UPSC ORA portal from 13th June 2026 to 3rd July 2026. The crucial date for determining the age limit is the closing date for submission of the online application. In any discrepancy, the detailed advertisement on the Commission's website shall prevail.
संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (UPSC) ने सूचक विज्ञापन संख्या 06/2026 जारी कर विभिन्न मंत्रालयों, विभागों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश प्रशासनों के अंतर्गत समूह 'क' और समूह 'ख' के तकनीकी, वैज्ञानिक, शिक्षण, विधिक एवं चिकित्सा पदों पर चयन द्वारा सीधी भर्ती हेतु ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। इस विज्ञापन में कुल 98 प्रकार के पद शामिल हैं, जिनकी सम्मिलित रिक्तियाँ 546 हैं। प्रमुख पदों में जूनियर साइंटिफिक ऑफिसर (राष्ट्रीय जैविक एवं प्राकृतिक खेती केंद्र, गाज़ियाबाद तथा नौसेना मुख्यालय), रीजनल डायरेक्टर, ऑपरेशन्स ऑफिसर एवं एयर सेफ्टी ऑफिसर (DGCA), कॉलेज ऑफ मिलिट्री इंजीनियरिंग (CME), पुणे में अनेक इंजीनियरिंग व विज्ञान विषयों में एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर एवं असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर के अनेक पद, असिस्टेंट लीगल एडवाइज़र, असिस्टेंट पब्लिक प्रॉसिक्यूटर, साइंटिस्ट 'बी'/'सी', असिस्टेंट डायरेक्टर (आईटी एवं इकोनॉमिक इन्वेस्टिगेशन) तथा स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय और लद्दाख व पुदुचेरी के विभिन्न विभागों के अनेक स्पेशलिस्ट ग्रेड-III व मेडिकल ऑफिसर पद शामिल हैं। वेतन 7वें CPC के वेतन मैट्रिक्स के लेवल 6 से 14 (तथा एकेडमिक लेवल 10 से 14) तक दिया जाएगा, और कई चिकित्सा पदों पर NPA भी देय है। आरक्षण पदवार रूप से UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST एवं PwBD अभ्यर्थियों हेतु निर्धारित है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन UPSC ORA पोर्टल के माध्यम से 13 जून 2026 से 3 जुलाई 2026 तक जमा करने होंगे। आयु सीमा निर्धारण की निर्णायक तिथि ऑनलाइन आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि होगी। किसी विसंगति की स्थिति में आयोग की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध विस्तृत विज्ञापन ही मान्य होगा।

3. Register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform on the ORA portal if not already registered, then log in.
4. Fill the online application for the specific post (use the exact Vacancy No. printed against each post), upload the scanned photograph, signature and any documents specified in the detailed advertisement.
5. Keep ready proof of date of birth, educational/professional qualification certificates, experience certificates, caste/EWS/PwBD certificates (as applicable) and identity proof - the crucial date for age determination is the closing date of online submission (3rd July 2026).
