National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy Recruitment 2026 — Young Professional

The National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy, Bhairon Marg, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi-110001 — functioning under the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India — has invited applications from eligible aspirants for the contractual appointment of one Young Professional (YP). The engagement is for an initial period of one year at a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹60,000. The essential qualification is a Master's degree in Museology, History of Art, Ancient Indian History, Cultural Studies, Fine Arts, Design, Textile Studies, Museum Studies or any related field from a recognized University / Institute, together with a minimum of three years' experience in curation and conceptualization of exhibitions, research and documentation related to crafts and handicrafts, and coordination of events / visits involving national and international high-level delegations. A Ph.D. in a relevant subject, prior experience in a national-level museum or cultural institution, knowledge of Indian crafts and textiles, and proficiency in digital documentation are desirable.
