The Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT), Mumbai, located at 1st Floor, Telephone Bhavan, Colaba Market, Colaba, Mumbai – 400005, is a quasi-judicial body set up under the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, under the provisions of the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993. Through Vacancy Circular No. DRAT/MUM/vacancy/Deputation/2026-27/ dated 14.05.2026, DRAT has invited applications on deputation basis from suitable officers/officials of Central/State Government/Courts/Tribunals for appointment to posts at DRAT Mumbai and the Debts Recovery Tribunals (DRTs) under its jurisdiction. The vacancies are: Section Officer (03, Level-7), Private Secretary (07, Level-7), Assistant (30, Level-6), Accounts Assistant (06, Level-6), Stenographer Grade-I (17, Level-6) and Upper Division Clerk (07, Level-4), totalling 70 posts spread across Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Pune and Aurangabad. The maximum age for deputation is 56 years as on the closing date. Selected candidates will be appointed on deputation initially for one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years. This recruitment has been advertised in Employment News (06–12 June 2026). Applications of willing and eligible candidates, in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I & II) with attested APARs of the last 05 years (up to 31.03.2026), must reach The Registrar, DRAT, Mumbai through proper channel on or before 15 June 2026 by 5:00 PM.
