DEA Finance Ministry Recruitment 2026 — Technical Officer & DEO

The Department of Economic Affairs (Admn. VI), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, has invited applications to fill up vacant posts in the Budget Press, Department of Economic Affairs, on deputation/absorption basis under No. A.12011/4/2025-Admn.VI (C. No. 300693176). The advertisement, published in Employment News (06–12 June 2026), covers two posts. Annexure-I is for one (01) post of Technical Officer (Pre-process), classified as General Central Service Group 'B', Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, in Level-7 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, to be filled by deputation. Annexure-II is for three (03) posts of Data Entry Operator Gr.B, classified as General Central Service Group 'C', Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, in Level-5 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, to be filled by deputation/absorption. The Budget Press is located at the Work Hall, 'A' Wing, Kartavya Bhawan-I, New Delhi-110001. Eligibility is governed by the recruitment rules: officers of the Central Government holding analogous posts (or in the prescribed feeder grades) are eligible on deputation, while for direct recruitment of the Data Entry Operator a degree of a recognised university plus a typing/data-entry speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour is required, with preference for candidates conversant with computer keyboard operation in both Hindi and English. The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
