The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, has issued Advertisement No. 01/2026 (dated 26 May 2026) inviting applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, Delhi. As the academic and administrative head, the Vice-Chancellor is expected to be an eminent scholar in the field of Sanskrit and allied subjects, with qualifications specified in the regulations made under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and should preferably be not more than 65 years of age as on the closing date.
