The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has issued a circular dated 13 June 2026 inviting applications to fill two posts on deputation basis at its head office in New Delhi. The first post is that of Director, carrying Pay Level-13 (Rs.1,23,100 - 2,15,900), and the second is that of Secretary, carrying Pay Level-12 (Rs.78,800 - 2,09,200). For the post of Director, officers of an Organised Group 'A' Service of the Central Government who are holding an analogous post, or who have five years' regular service in Pay Level-12, are eligible. For the post of Secretary, officers of the Central Government holding an analogous post (or with five years' regular service in Pay Level-11), as well as serving General Managers of APEDA with five years' regular service and Deputy General Managers of APEDA with five years' regular service, are eligible to apply. The appointment is on deputation terms, and the period of deputation will be governed by the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel & Training from time to time. Candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed proforma, through the proper channel, along with the required documents. Applications that are incomplete, received after the last date, or not routed through the proper channel are liable to be rejected. 1. Eligible officers should apply in the prescribed proforma (Annexure - Application Form for Deputation) given with this circular. 2. The application must be forwarded/routed THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL by the employer / cadre controlling authority. Applications received directly or after the last date will not be entertained. 3. The complete application must reach the Director (Secretary), APEDA at: 3rd Floor, NCUI Building, 3 Institutional Area, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi-110016, within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News. 4. The following documents/certifications must be enclosed with the application (Certification by the Employer / Cadre Controlling Authority): i) A certificate that the information/details provided by the applicant are true and correct as per records, and that if selected he/she will be relieved immediately. ii) Certificate that there is no vigilance or disciplinary case pending/contemplated against the officer. iii) Integrity certificate of the officer. iv) CR Dossier in original, OR photocopies of the ACRs for the last 5 years duly attested by an officer of the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India or above. v) A certificate that no major/minor penalty has been imposed on the officer during the last 10 years, OR a list of major/minor penalties imposed during the last 10 years (as the case may be). 5. The application must be duly countersigned by the Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority with seal. 6. The candidate must fill all parts of the proforma including personal details (name, date of birth, address, email, mobile), present post and pay details, educational qualifications and experience, details of employment in chronological order, nature of present employment (ad-hoc/temporary/quasi-permanent/permanent), and any other relevant information, and sign the declaration.
