CBE FORMAT Objective multiple-choice exam held in two sessions on the same day; both sessions are mandatory (skipping either session means disqualification). QUALIFYING VS MERIT - Session-I is evaluated first; Session-II is evaluated only if you qualify Session-I. - The MTS merit list is prepared solely on Session-II performance. - Minimum qualifying marks in each session: UR 30%, OBC/EWS 25%, all other categories 20%. - Marks are normalized across shifts; normalized scores decide merit and cut-offs. - Separate age-group-wise (18-25 / 18-27), category-wise and State/UT-wise cut-offs may be fixed for MTS. LANGUAGES CBE is conducted in Hindi, English and 13 regional languages (Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu) — this applies to Session-I and the General Awareness part of Session-II.
